This webpage shows how to take plastic lids and make them into shrinky dink style charms by baking them. We could have a lot of fun with this, I bet! I'm going to start saving my plastic!

If baking the ink printed Sculpey (think Silly Putty on newspaper) works like Revo and I were discussing via IM the other day, combining the two would probably be really neat looking, too!

I know, huh! I've been trying to save plastic... but that's one problem with not buying a lot of prepackaged foods... And the thing I see the plastic on the most is desserts, which I'm the least likely to buy, since I like to bake!

I think that plastic is also one of the more expensive plastics too cause when you return it for recycling its the one you can get the most back for. Still want to do this though.

Yeah, I haven't saved much of it yet. You know how I love baking so I almost never buy the cookies and cakes that are most often in that stuff! Maybe I can kidnap it from work next time people bring something in... even though they'll think I'm weirder than they already do... Laughing
