Hi guys!
I know this is a crazy project for someone that's not very experienced at sewing, but I've decided I'm going to try to make a giant stuffed Appa, from the Nickelodeon cartoon Avatar. And when I say giant, I'm talking like 6 feet long so I can use him as a beanbag while watching tv!
Have any of you made a plushie before? Or seen any great tutorials or books? I'd love to hear about it!
He's so cuddly! <3 _________________ I'm feeling noodly tonight! *noodle noodle noodle* |

We really need to get together and do some kind of sewing based craft night! I want to cuddle your big bean of avatar!! Yoshi will be there too! We'll all snuggle together. _________________

I had forgotten about this project! Haha, I get distracted from my project ideas too easily... I hadn't made a lot of headway on finding good instructions for designing my own 3d plushies, anyway. Maybe it would be best to start from a pattern just to get the feel for it, huh? _________________ I'm feeling noodly tonight! *noodle noodle noodle* |
